The Awami Workers Party condemns the attack on Gilgit Central Jail to free terrorists involved in the Nanga Parbat massacre. AWP Vice-President Baba Jan, who is serving time on bogus terrorism charges in the same prison, has had his life unnecessarily put at risk because of the state’s unfair targeting of progressive activists under anti-terrorism laws and complicity and incompetence in dealing with actual terrorism.
